Dr. Julieanne Neal, ND, CMT, is a board-certified, licensed naturopathic doctor and a massage therapist with a special interest in women’s health, pediatrics and family medicine. Dr. Julie graduated from Bastyr University in Seattle, one of the leading naturopathic medical schools in the country, and received a four-year Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine.
She completed a family medicine internship at the Emerald City Clinic in Seattle under Dr. Molly Linton, ND, LM, and a naturopathic residency and associateship at Springs Natural Medicine under Dr. Faith Christensen, ND in Colorado Springs.
Dr. Julie’s goal as a naturopath is to promote optimal wellness for patients using safe and effective natural health care. She enjoys working with women, men, children and the elderly, and treats both acute and chronic health issues including allergies, colds and flues, fatigue, headaches, sinus infections, gastric reflux issues, ulcers, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, anxiety, depression, ADHD, insomnia, hormonal issues, PMS, menopause, vaginal infections, hypothyroidism, PCOS, diabetes, fibromyalgia, mood disorders, autoimmune diseases, gastrointestinal conditions, food allergies, candida, weight loss, infertility, and many other health conditions. She provides full physical exams, well-child visits, laboratory testing and analysis when indicated.
“My job as a naturopath is to educate and empower my patients with greater knowledge and better health choices so they can live to their fullest potential. Teaching and promoting healthy lifestyle habits is the foundation of my practice.”
Dr. Julie’s therapeutic approach is tailored to the individual. She will work with you to create a health plan that fits your lifestyle and promotes your optimal health long-term. Treatment goals focus on addressing the underlying cause of disease, rather than just symptomatic treatment.
“Palliation therapy only goes so far. In time, the symptoms usually come back or the disease process becomes more advanced. When you address the underlying dysfunction in the body and restore the biochemical balance to all organ systems, symptoms resolve on their own.”
She uses a combination of therapeutics which stimulate the body to heal on multiple levels. Therapies can include dietary and lifestyle recommendations, botanical/herbal medicine, nutrition, vitamin and nutrient supplementation, homeopathic medicine, drainage remedies, hydrotherapy, craniosacral therapy, visceral manipulation and massage therapy. Dr. Julie believes that true health is creating and sustaining balance in all aspects of health–physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual. She is dedicated to supporting patients in this effort.
